Two stops before the final destination

For a non-morning person the day started awfully early with a 3:15am wake up call. Surprisingly I was quite chipper. Our first flight left at 6am bringing us to our first layover in San Fran. We flew United to SFO and had a relatively non-eventful flight outside of someone fainting mid flight. Thankfully the flight crew was able to get this person feeling better and we were not required to make an emergency landing. I even got to have my usual Cheerios for breakfast on this flight and was really excited when given that option.

We had a few hours to kill in SFO and we decided to hang out at the airport instead of heading into town. Our next flight is on Asiana so I get to experience a new airline. Next layover is Seoul and my first time stepping foot in Asia. It will also mark my fifth continent that I have visited leaving only two more to go.

Asiana inflight service was first rate. The flight attendants are all about service and wanting to make sure you are comfortable; something that can lack with other airlines. The flight from San Fran to Seoul was about 12 hours and was the second longest non-stop flight I've ever experienced. (Auckland to Vancouver beats it by three hours).

We are now waiting in Seoul for our final leg to Bangkok on Thai Airlines. We're scheduled to arrive in Bangkok at 1am Sunday April 8. So in effect I woke up this morning with it being Friday, landed in Seoul Saturday evening and will arrive in Bangkok Sunday early morning. This round about route to Bangkok allowed us to fly in business class on points, which was a huge treat for this long trek.
