Gotta love Air Canada

The adventure got off to a delayed start thanks to Air Canada. Our flight was supposed to leave at 2pm, but we were told that there were a few people from a connecting flight that we would be waiting for. Don't quite understand why they would keep an entire plane waiting for just a few people when there are basically flights every hour to Toronto. Then we were delayed awhile longer due to the wind storm...so 1 hour and 15 minutes later we were safely in the air. Our connection in Toronto only gave us 2 hours, so I was panicking a little but realized there was nothing I could do about it; we'd either make our connection or miss it and have our entire trip plans thrown out the window. Ziad just laughed at me. So I settled in and watched Up In the Air. The flight from Toronto to Sao Paulo was an overnight and rather uneventful. It really makes a difference travelling executive class where the seats recline flat so you can actually get a decent sleep. Makes arriving somewhere after being in transit for 16.5 hours that much easier.
